A few days ago, while trying to add a new contact into his phone, my husband encountered a really really really lame bug in his iPhone; the keyboard did not show up when he wanted to type in the name of his new contact. This came after “upgrading” to the new iOS 8 (the OS version is 8.1.2 to be exact).

After reading up, I found out that it’s most likely due to the OS “thinking” that the device is connected to an external keyboard. So the best solution? Turn off the bluetooth and restart the device.

And then wait for an iOS update.
